In this generation today, of vices and vile tendencies, the torch of God's hope still burns. Even though things shall get worse worldwide, morally speaking and otherwise, the banner of divine purpose shall still be lifted up and the Father's will shall be done. In this generation, I tell you there is a generation.
A generation of purpose-seekers and not pleasure-lovers, young men and women who are set forth to fulfill God's mandate in Nigeria undaunted. Proudly and courageously exhibiting their

A Soft Answer
A scriptural passage in the fifteenth chapter of the Book of Proverbs reminds me of the story of a certain man and his wife. On this particular day having come home from the day's business, he was quite on a low, you know, those "having a bad day" kind of thing. So you see, he got home in quite a foul mood and as such, a minor thing was enough to cause him to swing into the 'transfer of aggression' mode. He lashed out at his wife, "What is wrong with you? You this clumsy fool!" It was during dinner it happened.

The Un-mingleable
Man is a social animal and as the popular saying goes: "we tangle to mingle." Albeit, there are some persons that pose lurking subtle dangers to those who mingle with them. These are the 'unmingleable' but Scripture calls them foolish or fools: the simple who do not understand the intricacies of life nor do they seek to; or the backslider in heart who is filled with his own ways.

The Profit of Instruction
Self-Conceit? Conceit of one's self; an overweening opinion of one's powers or endowments. Scriptures frowns on one of the deadliest, most injurious and most dangerous attitudes man can have. "Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him." Prov.26:12. Going down to verse 16 we read, "The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason." Some time back, i was moved to write the following phrase at the margin of my Bible beside this particular verse: A lazy man can bring up more excuses than even the perfect keys to prosperity. Let me tell you a fable.
One day the dog said to the cock his friend, "Cocky, i want to inform you that i won't be able to visit you tomorrow because i shall be traveling today to visit a distant cousin of mine on the

Wisdom's Worth
Proverbs chapter 4 verses 5-9:
Time and time again, the VALUE of wisdom is underscored for the believer and the importance of understanding is highlighted for he that is saved. Why the believer? Because he should be able to be
"Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not… Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver thee."

Void of Understanding
I once met a young man who told me his story. The story he told me was rather pathetic. When he finished i could only conclude that he was a youth void of understanding. Not that i judge him for his error, far from it! I'd rather say that from what he told to me, i learnt quite a deep lesson as i saw the reflection of my image from the mirror of his epistle. This brother, let us call him Alex, was quite a decent young chap aspiring unto greatness. At least he looked much of decent from the much people saw of him on the outside. But even as i consider his story now in the process of my writing this, i can't help but imagine what was going on in the mind of Jesus when He said, "...whited sepulchres,
